Casting Announcement – Sacha A. Dzuba as Captain Charles Vane

We lost dearest Sacha in 2016. When we first considered doing a Continuum Force podcast back in 2014, Sacha was one of the people we thought of first, not only for Charles Vane but several of the roles. Sacha was a good friend but also a brilliant voice actor, doing a number of projects with the Atlanta Radio Theater Company as well as starring as the original Mr. Creature in Doctor Geek Laboratory.

Of course, Sacha also starred on screen, as Doctor Craven in the Steampunk retelling of The Secret Garden as well as bit parts in a number of big budget motion pictures, including the 2015 remake of Vacation.

We got greedy with the Continuum Force project, trying to turn it into a feature film, then a television series before realizing that audio drama is where (for now) the show belonged. Unfortunately, Sacha passed away at the young age of 38, breaking all of our hearts.

He is remembered by his loving family, his friends and all those whom his amazing abilities touched in their lives.

Sacha was truly one of the most unique people on the planet and we’re proud to include him in our initial episode. He belonged here. He had to be here.
