Submissions

Transmissions From Atlantis Comics is always on the lookout for great artists and new comic book projects.

All submissions must be accompanied with the  Submission Agreement. Submissions without this agreement attached will be deleted and not considered.

Creator Owned Projects

Transmissions From Atlantis Comics specializes in Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. Your project should delve into one of these genres. These should be original characters and not tied to any properties owned by Transmissions From Atlantis Comics or another comics entity.

All Creator Owned Submissions must have an artist firmly attached to the project. Any submission received without a Submission Agreement form attached will be deleted unopened.

What We Want: The ideal submission will include an overview of the story, a detailed plot synopsis, sample script pages, character designs, and several sample art pages (panel to panel continuity). We want to know how this story will end – not just the first issue – but the entire arc.

What We Don’t Want: Manga, Anime-style, erotica, porn, masochistic violence, scenes of torture or anything else that would be considered NC-17. We also don’t want anything that isn’t Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Horror.

Rights: The characters and stories are yours. We just ask for the right to first English language publishing rights of these works under the Transmissions From Atlantis Comics flag.

Don’t forget to include your name, address, e-mail address and/or a phone number at which you can be contacted.

Artist Submissions

Transmissions From Atlantis Comics is on the lookout for pencils, inkers, letterers, colorists and those that can do it all at a top notch level.

Our artists will not only provide quality traditional comic book art (in the DC/Marvel style) but be reliable and deliver on the scheduled agreed upon deadlines. We are still seeking artists for studio books but all new artists must be willing to work for high percentage back-end deals and signing bonus. We only provide page rates to artists we know and trust to deliver a finished project.

We are not interested in Manga style at this time.

Provide a link to a gallery of your artwork. This should include at least panel to panel continuity (storytelling), as well as illustrative work (pin-ups, covers, etc.) We will consider penciled and inked pages, penciled pages (so long as the pencils are tight and clean), fully-rendered pencils (grayscale tones), and painted pages.

Do not send files in attachments.

Don’t forget to include your name, address, e-mail address and/or a phone number at which you can be contacted.

Be sure to put Submission and what you are submitting for in the subject line.

Writers

We are currently only seeking fully realized creator owned projects. In other words, your project should have an artist attached and a completed book. If this is an on-going or mini-series, you should have at least 3 of the books completed.
