The third and final installment in Debbie’s Christian Vampire trilogy, Kiss of Revenge, is set for release on October 29th.
An epic battle between the forces of good and evil sets the stage for this tale of passion and redemption that sprawls across centuries and pulls two young tourists in modern day Prague into a world of danger, mystery, passion, love, and betrayal that they could never have dreamed even existed where are vampires are real and even more complex and multi-layered than humans.
The books weave together issues of faith, sin and redemption while exploring vampirism and giving it a unique, spiritual twist. Vampirism is a curse bestowed only upon the most evil people who will otherwise never live long enough to see the truth of their own existence and seek out forgiveness. The books pose the question: Can truly anyone be saved regardless of who or even what they are?
Critics and readers alike have been swept up in the passion and excitement of the series.
“Breathless tension coats Raphael and Susan’s interactions with a right-on-the-edge-of-passion thrill….I am eerily hooked….It’s a thought-provoking read that, like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, may cause readers to question their definition of a monster.” (USA Today)
“The premise is provocative: can a vampire be redeemed?… hordes of vampire fans who, after their introduction to the vampire Raphael, will clamor for book two and the movie adaptation that must star Johnny Depp.” (Publishers Weekly)
“The action is fast, furious and violent, interspersed with fascinating diary entries that are slowly revealed as the cousins translate pages, creating a rising excitement that doesn’t stop when the book ends.” (RT Book Reviews, ****1/2)
Debbie Viguié has long believed that the Christian horror novel was a genre that needed exploration. The vampire novel was the ideal place to start since it involved a classic monster and historically religious overtones with the use of such weapons as crosses and holy water against the monsters. A strong Christian herself Debbie’s writing almost always has a dark edge to it and she enjoys writing books about witches, werewolves, vampires, demons, and other things that go bump in the night. You can read more about Debbie and her work at www.debbieviguie.com.
Debbie is available for interviews about this series or any of her other works.
Debbie Viguié is the New York Times Bestselling author of more than two dozen novels including the Wicked series, the Crusade series and the Wolf Springs Chronicles series co-authored with Nancy Holder. In addition to her epic dark fantasy work Debbie also writes thrillers including The Psalm 23 Mysteries, the Kiss trilogy, and the Witch Hunt trilogy. When Debbie isn’t busy writing she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, visiting theme parks. They live in Florida with their cat, Schrödinger.
Hey there folks,
As you know I’ve been working very hard to make Serial – The Vampire Series a reality. It’s been a passion of mine for a couple of years – right up there with Star Mage. We’ve had some starts and stops in the project along the way but I’ve never given up hope that Allister, Arianna and Jack would shock and titillate your senses with amazing vampiric carnage.
Well, I happy to announce that I’ve joined forces with Martin Dunn of Conn Artist Entertainment to bring you Serial.
Together we’re building a team that includes comic veterans Derrick Fish (Perhapsnaughts, WellKeeper) and Austin Janowsky ( Iron Man: The End; Tomb Raider; X-Men Unlimited; Red Sonja; Invincible; Wizards of the Coast; GI Joe).
Martin is co-owner and founder of Con Artist Entertainment. In comics, his book ‘Joshua Black’ has gained a steady following. He is the Co-Creator of many titles including “Zombie Squad”, “Devil’s Six”, and “Teddy: The Monster Slayer”. Martin has done work for Creature Entertainment’s “The Zombie Years”, and a number of other indy comic projects. His current projects, in addition to Joshua Black, include “Old World 50″, a post apocalyptic web comic, “Project:Overwatch “, with artist Javier Lugo, “Where Time Travelers go to Die!”, a graphic novel with artist Jeremy Calderon, and “Wrong Way”, a modern day Punk Rock Bonnie and Clyde story, co-written by Ashley Olien.
A preview of Serial: The Vampire Series will appear in one of the IDW releases of Star Mage.
